Clusters® Slant Tops
Slant Tops are the first receptacle designed for collecting recyclables in public. (U.S. Patents #5,503,287; Des. 343,038, Des. 331,824) Their distinctive, slanted top contrasts with traditional trash cans and makes the lid message visible from a distance. A center post creates a visual que and ties multiple containers together into Clusters®
Slant Tops are made of 100% post-consumer recycled HDPE plastic lumber slats, fastened to a cast-aluminum frame with stainless steel hardware. Standard Slant Tops are emptied from the top; however, a front access model is also available. Both options include removable liners molded of recycled plastic. Top access barrels have a 30 gallon capacity, side access is 24 gallons.
Two lid styles are available: quarter-inch thick, cast-aluminum with built in lock and pictorial graphics (pictured) or aluminum plate with word graphics only. Both lid styles are finished using a two-layer powder coat process.
A unique, three-sided post is supplied with Clusters® of two or three barrels and 6'0 x 6'0 square posts for Clusters of four. Like the barrels themselves, Center Posts are made of recycled plastics and feature a recessed surface for decals. Choose our standard decals or create a layout using customer-supplied artwork.
Slant Tops cost range: $382 - $724 per barrel; $901 - $3,169 per Slat Top cluster. Cost variables include model selection, order size, customization requirements and government contract obligations. Call for details and price quote.
